In early 2003, tgcBIOMICS GmbH is made up of a team of 14 young, highly motivated employees, some of whom were involved in the company's setup from the very start.

Prof. Dr. von Eichel-Streiber is a founding shareholder and has managed the company since 1999. His scientific work is accessible in databases (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed). Dr. G. Frank assists Dr. von Eichel-Streiber in the expansion of tgcBIOMICS. Dr. Frank, a former investment banker at UBS-Warburg and specialist for medical and pharmaceutical investments for the past twelve years, also works as controlling consultant of SUPPORTA CAPITAL GROWTH. In the scope of tgcBIOMICS' further growth, an experienced CFO will be hired.
The Business Development, Marketing and Customer Service Division is managed by Dr. Rene Glas-Albrecht. He has over 10 years intentive knowledge of Marketing and Business Development on national (Germany) and international level. Dr. Glas-Albrecht worked for several companies including Allergy Therapeutics and SmithKline Beecham. He joint the company by July 2003.
Advisory Board
Prof. Dr. T. Chakraborty is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of tgcBIOMICS GmbH. He is a founding shareholder of the company, studied biology in London and Berlin and, since 1998, is director of the Institute of Medical Microbiology at the University of Giessen. His scientific works are documented in approx. 120 publications and patents (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed). The plan for the commencing second phase of company growth includes the addition of more notable persons to the Advisory Board.
